The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman achieved a career-best seventh position in the ICC Test rankings for batters after scoring two centuries in the recent Test match against England. This achievement places him among the elite, making him only the second wicketkeeper in history to achieve this feat.
Pant's outstanding performance included scores of 134 and 118. His achievement equals Zimbabwe's Andy Flower, as the only wicketkeepers to score two centuries in the same Test match.
The 27-year-old's success is especially remarkable considering his near-fatal car accident in December 2022. After being out of action for 15 months, Pant's return to form has been nothing short of spectacular.

Goenka took to social media to express his admiration, stating, "Rishabh Pant's comeback story is truly inspirational. By setting new records and becoming the first Indian keeper-batter to hit 800 rating points, he continues to raise the bar."
Pant made a triumphant return to cricket after his accident, securing a record-breaking IPL contract worth Rs 27 crore with LSG. Despite initial concerns about his form, Pant silenced critics with his exceptional performance against England.
