The Indian wicketkeeper-batsman achieved a career-best seventh position in the ICC Test rankings for batters after scoring two centuries in the recent Test match against England. This achievement places him among the elite, making him only the second wicketkeeper in history to achieve this feat.

Pant's outstanding performance included scores of 134 and 118. His achievement equals Zimbabwe's Andy Flower, as the only wicketkeepers to score two centuries in the same Test match.

The 27-year-old's success is especially remarkable considering his near-fatal car accident in December 2022. After being out of action for 15 months, Pant's return to form has been nothing short of spectacular.
