Shedding some light on the very last part, which is Hrithik Roshan’s diet plan, his personal chef, Shubham Vishwakkarma, spoke to Health Shots. Shubham has been with the actor since 2022 and works in coordination with Hrithik’s trainer. In his recent media interaction, she spilled the beans on the actor’s daily meals, what happens on cheat meals, and more.

Intermittent fasting or one meal a day structure has been all the rage for years on the internet. Celebrity or not, many fitness freaks swear by these methods of eating, but not Hrithik. His chef explains that the actor eats “2.5 to 3 hours and wraps up dinner by 9 p.m.” He then fasts until morning.

A healthy meal needs to have a balanced combination of several dietary elements. It has always been more about smart eating and keeping the right options handy. According to Shubham, Hrithik’s meals are made to “support lean muscle growth while keeping his energy levels high.” Thus, they include protein, carbs, fiber, and healthy fats. He mentioned different sources for proteins, carbs, and fiber, like eggs, Greek yogurt, fish, lentils, quinoa, and more. And two staples, which are simply non-negotiables, are nuts and seeds as a source of healthy fat.

Not to forget, Hrithik’s meal includes a sweet treat. It is a gluten-free snack - a protein-rich brownie.

Last but not least, things that never make it to the ‘War 2’ actor’s plate include refined sugar, gluten, and seed oils. Interestingly, you will also never find mushrooms on his plate, but the reason behind this is that Hrithik simply doesn’t like them.

When it comes to finally having a break and treat, Hrithik sure loves to indulge. However, even on his cheat days, he is very careful about what goes into his system. “Tandoori chicken, BBQ chicken, a no-carb burger, or a jowar-based pizza, these are the kind of foods he enjoys. They satisfy his cravings but don’t undo his progress," says the chef.

Also, when it comes to his comfort food, the actor sticks to simple home-cooked delicacies like moong dal, bhindi bhaji, jowar roti, and a bowl of curd.
